Amos McKeehan

Amos M. McKeehan, 89, of Soddy-Daisy, died Sunday, Aug. 5, 2012.He was born Oct. 16, 1922 in Dalton, Ga.Mr. McKeehan was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years Hazel McKeehan. He was a member of The Crossing formerly East Ridge Church of God. Mr. McKeehan was an Army Veteran serving during World War II. He loved the outdoors, gardening and especially the water.Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Angie McKeehan; grandchildren, Kamryn and Kiptyn McKeehan and Jillian and Sophie Roberts.Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 13, 2012, with Dr. Steve Anthony officiating.Interment will follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery.The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Monday.Please share your thoughts and memories at www.chattanoogaeastchapel.com.Arrangements are by the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 404 S.
