Bill Nolen

William "Bill" Lawrence Nolen Jr., 65, of Chattanooga, Tenn., passed away Saturday July 14, 2012. A lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area, Bill graduated from Rossville High School and served four years in the U.S. Navy. He was a self-employed painter and was of the Methodist faith. He is preceded in death by his parents, William Lawrence Nolen Sr. and Gladys Samsel Nolen. He is survived by several cousins. Graveside services will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 14 at the Chattanooga National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Association or to the Dis-abled Veterans Association. Arrangements are by W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home Ft. Oglethorpe, Georgia.
