Sophia Harmon

ROSSVILLE Sophia Marie Harmon, 85, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 11, 2012 at her residence.Mrs. Harmon was a native of Hastings, N.Y., but had lived most of her life in the Rossville area and had worked at Crane Company for several years. She was of the Catholic faith and enjoyed being with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Eva Siwick; husband, Grant Lee Harmon, Sr.; son, Grant Lee Harmon, Jr.; several brothers and sisters.Left to cherish her memory are her children, Elaine Griffin, of Chattanooga, Joyce Harper, of Rossville, Jeff Harmon, of Trion, Ga., and Todd Harmon, Chattanooga; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; several sisters, nieces and nephews.Private services will be held at a later date.To share your expressions of sympathy, visit lane-southcrestchapel.com.Arrangements are by the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory, Rossville.
