Charlotte Ann Russell, 83, passed away Monday, Aug. 20, 2012.Charlotte worked as a school secretary for Kirkman Tech High School and the Central Office; she was a member of Hixson United Methodist Church and the Emmaus Community.Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Russell; parents, Paul and Alberta Callaway Millsaps; brother, Paul Millsaps Jr.Charlotte is survived by daughter, Connie (Steve) Bowman, of Chattanooga; son, Stephen (Sally) Abercrombie, of Chickamauga; stepdaughter, Johanna (Bill) Sauls, of Chattanooga; stepson, David Russell, of Chattanooga; grandsons, Matthew Bowman, Will Abercrombie, Bill Phillips; granddaughters, Wagner Abercrombie and Wendy Phillips; great-grandson, Justin Phillips; great-granddaughters, Lindsey, Emily and Bailey Phillips; niece, Betty Van-Iersel.The family will receive friends from 4 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2012, at Chattanooga Funeral Home, North Chapel.The funeral service will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 23, 2012, in the chapel with Rev.
