Darrell Owen Gibson, 45, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2012, at his residence.Darrell was of the Christian faith and a carpenter by trade. He was a loving father to his son and loving brother to his family.He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin Elwood Gibson and Gretchel Gash Gibson; grandmother, Beatrice Gash.Darrell is survived by his son, Damon Gibson; sisters, Carla Ayers, Gale Basham, and Mary Gibson; brother, Gerald Gibson.Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 24, 2012, in the funeral home chapel.
