Reba Hoodenpyle

Reba Hoodenpyle, 87, formerly of Signal Mountain, passed away Thursday, Aug. 16, 2012 in Tallahassee, Fla.She was born in Bledsoe county Pikeville, Tenn., on Nov. 15, 1924. She was one of 21 children and fifth from the youngest.She was preceded in death by her husband, Cornelius Hoodenpyle; two sons, Danny and Donald Hoodenpyle; father, Frank Campbell; mother, Lala Bell Campbell; nine brothers; and seven sisters.Survivors include her son, David Hoodenpyle (Lois); sisters, Carolyn Acuff, of Atlanta, Frances Lane, of San Diego, Calif., and Charlotte Acuff, of Chattanooga, Alma Greene, of McMinnville; grandchildren, Angela Isaac (Sean), Scott Hoodenpyle, Seth Hoodenpyle (Tiffany) and Daniel Harris; great-grandchildren, Emily Hoodenpyle (Mark), Shauna Isaac, Charlene Hoodenpyle and Kaitlyn Harris; great-great-grandchild, Leah Mitcham; daughter-in-law, Cheryle Lee; a host of nieces and nephews.
