Arvella Crutchfield

Arvella "Mutt" Crutchfield, 82, passed away on Friday, Aug. 17, 2012, at a local healthcare facility.She was formerly employed at Parkridge Hospital.She was preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Lula Crutchfield; and siblings, Leroy, Milton Jr., Joe Louis and Willie B. Crutchfield and Elizabeth Billingsley and Dorothy Beacham.Survivors include her daughter, Jennifer Dean; grandchildren, Jeremy, Jermaine, Jourdon; great-grandchild, Jeremiah; sisters, Juanita McClellan, ELois Waller and Mary Jo Brown.Funeral services will be held at noon Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012 in the chapel with Pastor Meredith Jackson officiating. The family will receive friends on the day of the service beginning at 10 a.m. until the service. Interment in Highland Cemetery. The body will lie in state after 4 p.m. today at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodd Avenue, 622-9995.
