Joy Hetzler Varner, 68 of Hixson, passed away Friday, Aug. 17, 2012, in Maryville.She was born Nov. 20, 1943 in Chattanooga, to Ralph and Joyce Yarbrough Hetzler.She is survived by her children, Nicole (Ken) Sargent, of Monte Verde, Fla., Dawn (Tom) Brennan, of Tampa, Fla., and Brian Varner, of Hixson; four grandchildren; one brother Gene (Imogean) Hetzler, of Chattanooga.A graveside service, with Pastor Benjamin Skidmore officiating, will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, at Forest Hills Cemetery, 4016 Tennessee Ave., Chattanooga.McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville, Tenn., in charge, 865-982-6812www.mccammonammonsclick.com.
