Alma Keown

Mary Alma Keown, 96, of Chattanooga, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2012, at the Health Center at Standifer Place.She was the daughter of the late Bennie and Georgia Sharp and was preceded in death by four sisters, Ruth Ward, Helen Sharp, Juanita Haithcoat and Clara Estell Walker.Alma was a member of Brainerd Hills Baptist Church.Survivors include her two children, Amelia Ann (Anthony) Cooper, of Chattanooga, Malcolm Price (Faye) Keown, of Vicksburg, Miss.; five grandchildren, Leigh Ann Cooper, Susan, Jennifer, Jessica, Jeffrey Keown; and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with the Rev.
