Timothy Wilkins

ROSSVILLE Timothy Alan Wilkins, 52, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012, at his residence.He had lived most of his life in the Chattanooga and North Georgia area where he was a 1978 graduate of Soddy Daisy High School. He was currently employed at Health Center at Standifer Place in the Housekeeping Department. He had also worked many years in the construction industry. His passions in life were his family, enjoying outdoor activities such as yard work and playing golf. He was also an avid Vols fan.He was preceded in death by his parents, Sandy Wilkins and Dora Ellen Middlebrooks.Survivors include his sister, Kathi Wilkins, of Soddy-Daisy; spouse, Virginia Jones, of Rossville; stepchildren, Rodger Barley, of Rosville, Brian Barley, of Rossville, Mark Barley, of LaFayette, and Brenton Barley, of Rossville; 13 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.Condolences may be sent to www.lane-southcrestchapel.com.Memorial services will be held at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, in the South Crest Chapel.Arrangements are by the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, located at the end of Historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
