Jean Higdon

Bobbie Jean Higdon, 81, of Soddy-Daisy, died Monday, Dec. 3, 2012 in her home. She was of Church of God faith, a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Higdon; and her son, Paul Wayne Higdon.Survivors include her son, Bill (Pam) Higdon, of Hixson; daughter, Betty McCurdy, of Hixson, Kathy (Randy) Lovern, of Signal Mountain and Angie Honaker, of Ohio; sisters, Louetta Layne, of Red Bank, Georgia Ann Moody, of Alabama; brother, Richard Arnold, of Illinois; nine grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.Funeral services will be noon Wednesday at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace with Pastor Emory Layne officiating.Burial will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.Visit www.lanefh.com to share condolences.The family will receive friends after 4 p.m. today at Lane Funeral Home, 601 Ashland Terrace, 423-877-3524.
