LaFAYETTE Robert Carl Suttles, 55, passed away Sunday, Dec. 2, 2012, at Floyd Medical Center in Rome.He was a member of Mt. Zion. Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Paul Suttles and Hazel E. Clements Suttles.Survivors are his son, Sgt, Darian J. Jordan, of Chattanooga; sisters, Patricia Suttles Brabson and Margaret (Jimmy) Suttles Blalock, of Dalton; brothers, Minister Paul Alexander (Julia) Suttles of LaFayette, Gene A. (Barbara) Suttles, Reuben (Ann) Suttles, James Lebron (Deloise) Suttles and Dony M. (Mary) Suttles, of Dalton; aunts, Eunice Rooks of Chattanooga, and Nola Clements of Chickamauga; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Mount Zion Baptist Church, Dunwoody Road, LaFayette, Ga. with Minister Major Suttles, Pastor Rheubin M. Taylor, and other ministers officiating. His remains will lie in. state at the funeral home after 11 a.m. on Friday.The family will receive friends at the funeral, home on Friday from 6-7 p.m.Interment, Naomi Cemetery.Arrangements by Willis Funeral Home, Dalton.
