Rosetta Conner

ROSSVILLE Rosetta Ann Conner, 65, died Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012, in a local Hospice Unit. She was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church where she was a lifetime Sunday School Teacher and sang in the choir. Mrs. Conner was a great storyteller, a foster parent to numerous children, a former day care owner and a Family Service Administrator for Head Start with Catoosa and Walker Counties.She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Grover and Vena Campbell; husband, Kenneth Conner; brother, Grover J. Campbell Jr.Survivors are sons, Michael (Cheryl) Lee, Brent (Kristy) Lee, Brian (Shea) Lee, all of Cleveland, Tenn., Chris (Angie) Conner, Whitwell, Tenn., and Juan Rodriguez Conner, Rossville, Ga.; sister, Barbara (Wade) Underwood, Rossville; and a very special friend, Jim Duncan, Rossville, Ga.; 13 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Larry Underwood and Jon Underwood officiating.
