Frances Mae Yates, 86, of Chattanooga, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, surrounded by her family.She was born on May 9, 1926. She was a member of Brainerd Baptist Church. Having had polio as a small child, she shared Christs love for the physically handicapped. She was a strong help and friend to those she knew at Inspiration Ministries in Walworth, Wis. She will be remembered as a Godly woman who loved to cook the best desserts, enjoyed laughter around the dinner table, the quit times of reading her Bible, and was known as a prayer warrior. She was a remarkable wife, mother, grandmother and friend that will be missed.She was preceded in death by her brothers, Ed Justus and Wilbur Justus. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Robert L. Yates; son, Mark D. (Mary Staples) Yates; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Mark II and Timothy; son, Thomas D. (Susan McClendon) Yates; grandchildren, Aubrey, Kari and Justin.A graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 12, at Granny Walker Cemetery with the Rev.
