Betty Porter

Betty R. Porter, 71, of Red Bank, went home to the Lord Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012, surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Mamie T. and Reuben B. Roberts; and brother, Richard B. Roberts.Survivors include daughters, Davena Porter, Tracy (Dee) Hill; sisters, Catherine (Charles) Pipkin, Mary (Bob) Maxwell; and brother, Thomas (Cherry) Roberts; granddaughters, Megan Porter and Morgan Hill; and grandsons, Jeremy and Jared Hill; many nieces and nephews and her beloved cats.The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until time of service on Thursday, Dec. 13, at the North Chapel.Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Pastor Brian Maxwell officiating.In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions be made to Hospice of Chattanooga.Please share your thoughts and memories at www.chattanooganorthchapel.comArrangements are by Chattanooga Funeral Home Crematory & Florist, North Chapel, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson, TN 37343.
