Leon Bowman

Melvin Leon Bowman, 60, of Flat Top Mountain, Tenn., passed away Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012.Leon was of the Baptist faith. He had a great sense of humor, he loved to hunt and fish and he loved building all sorts of items.He was preceded in death by his father, Milford Bowman Sr.He is survived by his mother, Lola Bowman; brother, Junior (Etta) Bowman; sisters, Sondra (Fred) Stephens, Connie (Terry) Ramsey; aunt, Evalena Carney; uncle, Clyde Bowman; four nieces; three great-nephews; and several cousins.Funeral services will be 2 p.m. EDT Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012, at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home, with the Rev. Carl Hunsucker and the Rev. J.D.
