Connie Lewis-Hubbard, 56, Chattanooga went home to be with the Lord Friday, Dec. 14, 2012. She was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga and was a member of the East Ridge United Methodist Church.Connie was preceded in death by her father Herbert Thornton, Sr and brother Herbert "Skip" Thornton, Jr. Survivors are son and daughter-in- law Travis and Rhonda Lewis, Rossville; Husband Willie Hubbard, Chattanooga; Mother Dorothy Thornton; stepdaughter Vonda Mines, Chattanooga; sister Marcia Martin, Chattanooga; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.Memorial services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19, at East Ridge United Methodist Church with Rev. Kenneth Sauer officiating.Memorial Contributions may be made to the East Ridge United Methodist Church 1601 Prater Rd.
