Ruby Foster

Ruby W. Foster, 90, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012, at a local healthcare facility.She was born in Chattanooga, on Dec. 12, 1922 to Sam and Katie Wheeler.She was a member of First Baptist Church of Bozentown where she was an Usher Board member. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Foster; parents; sister, Jane Whitker; and brother, Fred Wheeler.She leaves to mourn in her memory, daughter, Wendy Watley; son, James Foster; sisters, Lena Cameron and Gwendolyn Mack; and two devoted nieces, Harriett (McDaniel) Bowman and Margo Cameron; a host of nieces, nephews and friends.Funeral services will be held services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 17, 2012, at Cleages Chapel AME Zion Church with Pastor Dexter Cummings officiating and the eulogy by Pastor McDaniel Bowman.Interment in Greenwood Cemetery.The body will lie in state after noon today until 8 p.m. this evening at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 622-9995.
