Shirley Ann Gossett, 75, of Red Bank, went to be with the Lord Sunday evening, Dec. 16, 2012, at her home.Shirley was a member of Red Bank Presbyterian Church where she taught Sunday School and Bible School, served as the pianist, sang in the choir and was the church historian. Shirley taught 35 years at Lookout Valley Elementary School first, second and third grades.She was preceded in death by her parents, William Littleton and Mary Alice Phillips Watts; and her brother, Tommy Watts.Survivors include her husband, Rev. Everett Gossett; and sons, Tim Gossett, of Hixson and George Allen Gossett, of Red Bank.Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Red Bank Presbyterian Church with Rev. Grady Davidson, Rev. Joe Novenson and Rev. Render Cains officiating.Interment will follow in Chattanooga Memorial Park.
