TRENTON David William Houts, 61, passed away Monday, Dec. 17, 2012.He was a graduate of Dade County High School Class of 1969 and retired from Lookout Mountain Police Department after 30 years of service.He is preceded in death by his father, J.A. Houts.Survivors include his loving wjfe, Lucretia Houts; mother, Edna Houts, Rising Fawn, Ga.; daughter, Danielle Houts; sons, Eric (Lora) Houts, Rising Fawn, and Seth Houts, Trenton; stepson, Brad Buchanan; sister, Nancy (Wendell) Key, Bryant, Ala; brother, Greg (Joni) Houts, Trenton; grandchildren, Gabe Buchanan, Braley Buchanan and Karrah Westfield.Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. EDT Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012 in the chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Eddie Cantrell officiating.Interment will be held in Lake Hills Memorial Gardens.Visitation will be held 2-8 p.m. today and noon-2 p.m. Thursday.Please leave your memories and prayers at www.moorefuneralhometrenton.com.Arrangements by Moore Funeral Home, Trenton.
