Juanita Drew

Juanita Swift Drew, 88, Chattanooga, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012.She was born March 14, 1924 and was a member of East Ridge Baptist Church. Formerly of Stevenson, Ala., Juanita has been a long time resident of the Chattanooga-North Georgia area.She was preceded in death by husband, John Drew; parents, Homer and Jimmie Swift, of Chattanooga; and brother, Dr. Charles Swift, of Tennessee.Survivors are daughter, Myra Charlene Kearnay, Roanoke, Va.; grandchildren, Lori Harris Murphy, Ringgold and James R. Harris Jr., of Troutville, Va.; great-grandchildren, Jennifer Murphy Brown, East Ridge and Hannah Harris, Troutville, Va.; and three great-great-grandchildren, Laiken, Bryson and Jaxon, East Ridge.Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. today with Rev. Lamar Dietz officiating.
