Margie Havis, 74, of Chattanooga, formerly of Whitwell, passed away Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012, at Memorial Hospital.Margie was a member of Alexian Brothers. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Cecil Havis; brothers, Bobby Swafford, Jimmy Swafford, Frank Swafford, Mickey Swafford; sisters, Inez Swafford.Those left to cherish her memories are her children, Nancy (Phil) Ellis, of Chattanooga, Paul (Annie) Hutchins Jr., of Stevenson, William Hutchins, of Bridgeport, Jerome Keith (Carolyn) Hutchins, of Tifton and Terrell Havis, of Whitwell; sister, Magalene Tatum, of Whitwell; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Family will receive friends noon-2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012.Funeral service 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Jim Hale officiating.Arrangements by Whitwell Memorial Funeral Home 423-658-7777.
