Ronnie Goins

CLEVELAND Ronnie Goins, 65, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012, in a local hospital.Ronnie was retired from L and D Vault company in Chattanooga with over 32 years of service and attended Maple St. Baptist Church. He was the son of the late Earl and Ina Mae Goins and was also preceded in death by an infant son, Wendell Joe Goins; and a brother, Harrison Goins. Ronnie was a well loved and respected member of his neighborhood and community. He was a giving man always ready to help anyone and everyone when they needed it. He will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him.He is survived by his "proud wife of 40 years", Carolyn Goins, his sisters, Mary Garrett Smith and her husband, Danny, Barbara Bigham and Ruby Rymer; his brother, Randall Goins and his wife, Gwen, all of Cleveland; a very special friend, Dale Moore; his dogs Baby, Henry, Sheeba and Bobo and his cat, Bootsy. Other survivors include his sisters-in-law, Sherry Ash and her husband, Stanley, of Cleveland, Mildred White and her husband, Don, of Old Fort; a brother-in-law, Tommy Todd of Cleveland. Several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews also survive.A Remembrance of Life Service will be held 2 p.m. Friday at the Wildwood Chapel of the Jim Rush Funeral Homes with the Rev. Quinn Green and the Rev. Cliff Donachy officiating. Interment will follow in Fort Hill Cemetery with Martin Bartee, Gary Duncan, Dewayne Bigham, Ray Bigham, Jeremy Bigham and Jason Bigham serving as casket bearers.
