Eva Winston

Eva Anderson Winston, 92, of Chattanooga, passed away on Monday, Dec. 24, 2012.She was preceded in death by her husband, George Finley Winston; her parents, Troy and Corinne Sims Anderson.Eva was a member of First Christian Church for over 70 years and currently a member of Red Bank Baptist Church.Eva is survived by her daughters, Martha Winston Canata, of Landrum, S.C. and Marilyn Winston Sledge, of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Winston Lay, of Chattanooga and Taylor Lay, of Groton, Conn., Kim Canata Frawley, of Princeton, N.J. and Mike Canata, of Charlotte, N.C.; seven great-grandchildren.There will be no visitation at the funeral home.Graveside services for Eva will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 28, at Chattanooga National Cemetery with Rev. Bert Jones officiating.
