Christopher Beers

Christopher Scott Beers passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2012 in Chattanooga. He was born on July 25, 1988 in Takoma Park, Md. He graduated from Beltsville Adventist Elementary School in Beltsville, Md.; Shenandoah Valley Academy in New Market, Va.; and Southern Adventist University in Collegedale, Tenn. He was a Registered Nurse at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, Tenn. Christopher remains a much beloved son and brother. He lived his life trying to make those around him happy. He loved being a nurse and planned to attend graduate school to become a Nurse Anesthetist. He enjoyed playing practical jokes whether just for fun or to brighten someone's day. He could easily make you laugh and also comfort you when you needed it most. He gave the best hugs! He loved a challenge and adventure, including sports, working out, running, weight lifting, running the Tough Mudder, and most recently sky diving. He loved his family and his friends. Words cannot adequately express the grief felt as we say goodbye to our wonderful son and brother, our grandson, nephew, cousin and friend. We look forward to the glorious second coming of the Lord when we can hold Christopher in our arms again.He is survived in loving and tender memory by his parents, Kevin and Judy Beers; his older brother, Jared Beers; and his little sister, Erin Beers. He is also survived by grandparents, Hubert and Loretta Moog, Bonnie and Dale Hannah, and Gay Beers; by aunts and uncles, Coleen and Curt Dolinsky, Randy and Patty Beers, and Brenton Beers and Jon Hudson; by cousins: Danae Songy, Ryan Dolinsky, and Alyssa Beers; by great aunts and uncles, by second and third cousins, and a host of friends who loved him. He was predeceased by his grandfather, David Beers. A Memorial service will be held 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor LeClare Litchfield officiating.
