LaTara Hughes

LaTara Mechelle Brown-Hughes, 33, of Chattanooga, passed away Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012 along with her husband, Santiaze Hughes, Sr. She was formerly employed by Pilgrim's Pride. She was a member of Nazarene Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Virginia Ransom, John Jones, Sr. and A.C. Brown; and uncle, Curtis Coleman. Survivors include sons, Santiaze Hughes, Jr. and Devarious Smith; daughter, Santiazia "Shay" Hughes; father, John Jones, Jr.; mother, Carla Brown; grandmother, Toylee Brown; brother, Dominic McDade; sisters, Johnna Jones, Diamond Jones, Ashley Jones, Vaneshia Adair, Adrian Wallace and Larhonda Wallace; a host of aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. Visitation will be today from 6-8 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Saturday, Dec. 29, at 1 p.m. at Olivet Baptist Church with Pastor Robert Chaney, Jr. as the eulogist. Burial: Highland Memorial Gardens.
