LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN Joe Mashburn, 79, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2012.He was a retired truck driver whose handle was "Bald Eagle" (and wife "Lady Hawk") and drove a school bus for Dade County Schools and was a member of Rising Fawn Holiness Church.He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Hazel Mashburn; parents, William and Dollie Mashburn; brothers, Will, Grady and James Mashburn; sisters, Susie Moore and Margie Robbins; great-grandsons, Paxton and Paeton Parker.Survivors include five daughters and husbands, Darlene (Dallas) Howard, Wanda (Allen) Parker, Donna (James) Cooper, Renea (Roy) Mahan, Sheila Shrader; son and wife, Doyle (Linda) Mashburn; three sisters, Helen Morton, Mary Spears and Ruth Smith; brothers, Lloyd Mashburn and Paul Mashburn; 25 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.Funeral services 3 p.m. EST Sunday, Feb. 5, 2012, in the North Sand Mountain Chapel with Brothers Dallas Howard, Bobby House and Lloyd Smith officiating.Interment will follow in Lake Hills Memorial Gardens.Visitation noon to 9 p.m. EST Saturday and noon to 3 p.m. EST Sunday.Arrangements by Moore Funeral Home, Bryant, Ala.
