Elizabeth Chesbrough

Elizabeth E. Chesbrough, 77, of Wapakoneta, Ohio, died at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2012, at her grandsons home in Chattanooga.She was born March 1, 1934 in Benton, Pa., the daughter of Lois Hess Yost and Frank Yost. She moved to Wapakoneta, Ohio when she was 18. She married Millard Boyer and they had two children, Tom Boyer and Arlene Boyer. Millard Boyer and Tom Boyer preceded her in death.Survivors include three brothers, Donald (Sue) Yost, Doyle Yost, Frank Yost, and one sister Laura (Rolland) Gierhart, all of Wapakoneta, Ohio; one daughter, Arlene (Steven) Combs, of Rossville; two sons, John (Kris) Chesbrough, of North Port, Fla. and Don Chesbrough, of Wapakoneta, Ohio; one grandson, Carson (Sharon) Combs; and two great grandchildren, Clark and Carly Combs. of Chattanooga.She married Elwood Chesbrough March 31, 1965.She was preceded in death by her husband Elwood Chesbrough. She and her husband owned and operated Chesbroughs Market in Wapakoneta, Ohio. She also worked for Wright Patterson Air Force Base until retirement. She enjoyed working with vitamins and herbs, gardening, playing the piano, playing dominoes and card games with her family. Her greatest joy was her grandson, Carson and his children, Clark and Carly.There will be no visitations.Graveside services will be at 2 p.m.Saturday, Jan. 7, 2012, at Mount Olivet Cemetery Chattanooga.
