Sybol Gooden Genella, 74, of Hixson, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, Jan. 5, 2012.The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 9, at the North Chapel and 1 to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 10, at Hixson United Methodist Church.Services for Sybol will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at Hixson United Methodist Church, in the Chapel at 5301 Old Hixson Pike, in Hixson with Dr. C. Mark Gooden, Rev. Randy Martin and Dr. John Bacon officiating.Burial will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Sybols name to the McKamey Animal Adoption and Care Center, 4500 N. Access Road, Chattanooga, TN 37415.
