Rhoda DillinghamGALLATIN Rhoda Eddings Dillingham, 69, passed away Monday, July 9, 2012.Mrs. Dillingham was born Dec. 15, 1942, in Signal Mountain, daughter of the late William Marshall and Anna Mae Buol Eddings. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by son, Clay Gann; and brothers, Jerry Eddings and W.J. Eddings.She is survived by husband, Sam Dillingham of Gallatin; daughters, Kim (Melvin) Downs and Lauri Gann, of Gallatin; brother, Tony (Kathy) Eddings, of Sarasota, Fla.; sisters, Loretta Perry, of Signal Mountain, Mary (James) Spruill, of Pegram, Martha (Kenneth) Brown, of Signal Mountain, Ruth Register (Levon) of Athens, Ga., and Donna (Jimmy) Witt, of Signal Mountain; stepchildren, Cari (Hagan) Hicks, of Murfreesboro, Chris (Catrice) Dillingham, of Bowling Green, Ky.; grandchildren, Jacob Barber and Rachel Barber; step-grandchildren, Chelsea Hulan, Chance Hulan, Conner Hicks, Caleb Dillingham, Megan Dillingham and Emily Dillingham. Mrs. Dillingham retired as office administrator after 21 years from First Baptist Church in Gallatin and she was also a member of First Baptist Church in Gallatin.Funeral Service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 11, from the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home with Brother Mike Corbin and Dr. Larry Yarborough officiating.Interment will be in Sumner Memorial Gardens with Hack Gilliam, David Stewart, Tyler Ring, Chris Dillingham, Chance Hulan and Hagan Hicks serving as pallbearers.Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today, July 10, and Wednesday, July 11, from 11 a.m. until time of service.Memorials may be made to Vanderbilt Ingram Cancer Center, 2300 Pierce Ave., Nashville, TN 37232.Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com Family Heritage Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
