Jean Boss

Jean C. Boss, 77, of Chattanooga, passed away Saturday, July 7, 2012.She was retired from Standard Coosa Thatcher and was a member of East Ridge Baptist Church.She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Jessie Owens; brother, Joe Owens; sisters, Margie Haley and Sue Light.Mrs. Boss loved her family and friends. She was a great mother and grandmother. She also loved to travel and follow politics.Survivors include two sons, David (Tena) Clark and Bobby (Karen) Dodd; five grandchildren, April Gravley, David Clark Jr., William Clark, Bobby Dodd Jr. and Monica Dodd; brother, Donnie Owens; sisters, June Akins, Betty Stroup, Diane Edgemon and Joyce Hamm as well as several nieces and nephews.Condolences may be sent to www.lane-southcrestchapel.com.The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Friday in the funeral home.Memorial services will be private.Arrangements by the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory located at the foot of Historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
