CHICKAMAUGA Louie Edward Cross, 70, passed away Sunday, July 8, 2012.He was born in Cleveland, Tenn., to the late John Benjamin and Pearl Brown Cross. He served his country in the U.S. Army. He worked as a truck driver and his last employment was with KGS Trucking in LaFayette, Ga. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed gardening.He is survived by his wife: Elizabeth "Liz" Marie Cross, of Chickamauga; daughters, Lyssa Pearson, of Grove, Okla., Regina Bagby, of Tampa, Fla., Ramona Lynn Scharber, of Florida, Ronni K. Nutter, of Chickamauga, Jenni Rubalcada, of Port St. Lucie, Fla., Harlee Cross; and a son, Forrest Nutter, both of Chickamauga; sisters, Sara Williams-Smith, of Chickamauga, Thelma Jo Potter, of Ringgold, Ga.; grandchildren, Ryan and Kayli Rubalcada, Makayla Nutter, Terran Bagby, Tamara Bagby, Trisha Pierre, Deanna Bagby, Damian Pierre, Daniella Pierre, Sheena Eastburn, Jeremy Peason, Crissy Farinella, Cole Farinella, Chris Farinella, Zach Farinella, Bentley Farinella, Ashley Pearson, Adam Pearson, Jerico Pearson, Lataya Person, Shelby Pearson, Angel Pearson and Tryniti Pearson; and several nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. Thursday with a memorial service to follow.
