Erma Glasgow

Erma J. Glasgow, 78, of Chattanooga, passed away Friday, July 6, 2012 at her residence.She was formerly employed by Hamilton County Nursing Home. She formerly attended New United Church and recently attended Metro Tabernacle.She was preceded in death by a son, Augustus R. Forney; and daughter, Earlene L. Bradley.Survivors include three sons, Charles (Veronica) Forney of Chattanooga, Timothy A. (Sonya) Forney, of Rutherford, N.C., Sherman W. Forney Jr., of Sprucepine, N.C.; two daughters, Hattie Forney, of Chattanooga and Reva Y. Forney, of Jacksonville, Fla.; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.Funeral services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Union Mills A.M.E. Zion Church with burial to follow in Union Mills Cemetery in Union Mills, North Carolina.Local arrangements are by Taylor Funeral Home of Chattanooga Inc. in conjunction with Ulysses Miller Funeral Home, 485 Poors Ford Road, Rutherfordton, NC 28139.
