WHITWELL Marie Minter Easterly, 78, of North Augusta, S.C., formerly of Whitwell passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2012.Marie was a member of Hillview Methodist Church and The Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her son, Gary L. Easterly; parents, E. Harley and Ice Minter; brothers, E.H. Minter Jr. Frank Minter and Jim Minter; sister, Ruby Minter Michael.Those left to cherish her memories her children, David (Kim) Easterly, of Whitwell; Brenda (Clyde) Bryant, of South Carolina; brother, Thomas (Linda) Minter, of Georgia; grandchildren, Katrina Marie Bryant, Travis Edward (Kathy) Bryant and Kelly LeNea Bryant (Shane) Echols; great-grandchildren, Justin Lane and Sara Marie Bryant; several nieces and nephews.Family will receive friends 5-9 p.m. Saturday, July 21, 2012.Funeral service 2 p.m. Sunday, July 22, 2012, in the funeral chapel.Interment to follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.Arrangements by Whitwell Memorial Funeral Home 423-658-7777.
