Betty Bethune

RINGGOLD Betty June Gilley Bethune, 79, went home to be with her Lord, Thursday, July 19, 2012.She has lived in the Ringgold area since 1965 and was a member of Gateway Baptist Church.Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Will and Minnie Hall Gilley.She is survived by her husband, of 62 years, R.B. Bethune; daughter, Patricia Ann (Vernon) Fitzsimmons, of Ringgold; son, David Lamar (Karen) Bethune, of Ringgold; brothers, L.Q. Gilley, W.P. Gilley and Marion Gilley; grandchildren, Christopher Bethune, Tracy Brookshire, Brian Fitzsimmons and Holly Fitzsimmons; great-grandchildren, Cody Bethune, Josh Bethune, Alex Bethune, Ava Fitzsimmons, Levi Fitzsimmons, Austin Brookshire and Hunter Brookshire; stepgrandchildren, Ashlea Servi, Brandon Servi, Zachery Servi and Derek Dinoni; and several nieces and nephews.The funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, July 23, 2012 in the funeral home chapel, with Brother Lamar Dietz officiating.Entombment will follow at Calvary Gardens Mausoleum.Family will receive friends from 1 until 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.Arrangements are by W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home, Fort Oglethorpe.
