Thomas Skipper

ROSSVILLE Thomas "Skip" Lebron Skipper, 63, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, July 20, 2012.He was a lifelong resident of the North Georgia area and was a member of Calvary Memorial Baptist Church. He was an Army Veteran having served during the Vietnam War and enjoyed traveling and antiquing. He retired from the Electric Power Board after more than 22 years and was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed by all that knew him.He was preceded in death by his parents, Rob and Lorena Skipper; and sister, Bobbie Bernice Skipper.Survivors include his loving wife, Janet Skipper, of Rossville; daughter and son-in-law, Renee (Tony) Campbell, of Chickamauga, Ga.; son, Thomas Lawayne Skipper, of Chickamauga; stepsons, Matthew Livingston, of Chattanooga, and Jonathan Trollinger, of Trenton, Ga.; sister and brother-in-law, Doris (David) Graham, of Chickamauga; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Monday, July 23, 2012 in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel with Rev.
