STEVENSON Darlene Mitchell Lacy, 53, passed away Sunday, July 22, 2012, at Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga.Darlene was the daughter of the late Marvin Edward and Betty Joan Batron Mitchell born June 27, 1959 in Trenton Ga. She was a North Sand Mountain High School graduate, Class of 77, member of First United Methodist Church in Stevenson and one of Kathys Kickers Line Dancers of Scottsboro. Darlene loved life to the fullest.Survivors include her husband of 25 years, Thomas Weaver Lacy; son, Chase Lacy, all of Stevenson; brothers, Steven E. (Leigh) Mitchell, of Hixson and Lance T. Mitchell; nieces, nephews and other relatives.The family will receive friends at the Celebration of Life Gathering from 6-8 p.m. CDT Wednesday at the First United Methodist Church in Stevenson.In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of Darlene Lacy to the American Cancer Society.Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson assisted the family with arrangements.www.rudderfuneral homes.com.
