Paul Cass

Paul Sedwick Cass, 73, passed away Thursday, July 26, 2012, at his home surrounded by his loving family.Paul was born and raised in Augusta, Maine and was a graduate of Cony High School, class of 1957. Following graduation, Paul joined the Air Force where he served his country proudly for over 20 years. Upon retirement from the Air Force he and his family relocated to Chattanooga. At the time of his death, Paul was employed at the Chattanooga Times Free Press.Survivors are his wife of 50 years, Sarah Cox Cass, of Red Bank; daughter, Anna (Robby) Lane, of Hixson; son, P. Scott Cass, of Fort Worth, Texas; sisters, Phyllis (Robert) McMillian, South China, Maine, Geraldine (Russell, deceased) Mundi, of Portland, Maine; brother, Gerald (Daisy) Cass, Augusta, Maine; grandchildren, Cassie and Dustin Lane, of Nashville.The family would like to thank Hospice of Chattanooga, especially Doug Albritton and Pat Flowers for the loving care they provided.Graveside services will be 12:30 p.m. Monday, July 30, at National Cemetery with full Military Honors.Visit www.lanefh.com to share condolences.Visitation is 4-8 p.m. today at Lane Funeral Home, 601 Ashland Terrace, 423-877-3524.
