Jerry Marshall

Sr.Jerry Marshall Sr., 62, of Chattanooga, departed this life on Sunday, May 27, 2012.He was a graduate of Howard High School. He was a member of Washington Park Missionary Baptist Church. He worked for the city of Chattanooga in Parks and Recreation for 31 years.He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.Survivors include sons, Jerry Marshall Jr., Thomas Marshall, Anthony (Christina) Marshall, Christopher (Sonya) Marshall and Xavier Marshall, all of Chattanooga; daughters, Tracy Wade and Jasmine Marshall, both of Chattanooga; brothers, Henry Marshall, Atlanta, Robbie (Barbara) Marshall and Fredrick Marshall, both of Chattanooga; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a special friend, Patricia Williams; a host of nieces and nephews.Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 2, 2012, at New Covenant Fellowship with the Rev. Ternae Jordan and Rev. P. Williams officiating.Interment in Forest Hill Cemetery.The body will lie in state after noon today with the family receiving friends from 7-8 p.m. at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Avenue, 622-9995.
