Carmon Beecham

Carmon Clifton Beecham, 94, of Chattanooga, passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2012, at his residence.He was retired from Combustion Engineering with many years of service as a design draftsman. He was a member of East Ridge Presbyterian Church, formerly a member of Brainerd Hills Presbyterian Church where he served as an elder for 30 years and chairman of missions. He was a veteran of WWII and after receiving his honorable discharge, he worked at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory for several years. After his retirement he was a volunteer at Memorial hospital and he was also a member of Gideons International (East Camp).Surviving relatives; wife of 59 and one half years Inez H. Beecham; son, Joel Beecham, of Knoxville; daughter, Angela Williams, of Roanoak, Va.; grandchildren, Jessica Williams, Elizabeth Williams, Leslie Beecham, Eric Beecham; and two nephews and one niece.Funeral services will be held 2:30 p.m. Sunday, June 3, 2012 at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. J.R.
