CLEVELAND Vernon L. Pickett, 56, passed away Friday, June 01, 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry & Mildred Pickett; sister, Onita Davis; brothers, Wendell Pickett and Jeff Pickett.Those left to cherish his memories wife, Jolinda Pickett, of Cleveland; daughters, Misty Stratford, of Fortsill, Okla. and Jacqueline Coleman, of Ringgold, Ga.; sisters, Monalisa Sanders, of Suck Creek Mountain, Lemma Brackett, of Ooltewah, Glenda Langley, of Hixson and Brenda Cates, of Ooltewah; brothers, Virgil Pickett and Ralph Pickett both of Whitwell; grandchildren, Kyle, Emily and Coby Stratford, Billy, Chasity and Shannon Davis.Family will receive friends 3 p.m. to 9 p.m., CST, Saturday, June 2.Funeral Service 2 p.m., CST, Sunday, June 3, in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Maloney, Pastor Sam Phillips and Pastor Porter officiating.
