Vivian Citty

Vivian Walls Citty, 91, died peacefully Thursday, May 31, 2012. She was born March 26, 1921 in LaFayette, Ga., but had lived in East Ridge since 1937. She was a long time member of South Seminole Baptist Church and the Love Sunday School Class. She served as a volunteer at Memorial Hospital for over 39 years.Vivian was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Lawrence E. Citty; father and mother, L.D. and Josie Faulkner Walls; brothers, Durval Walls and J.D. Walls. She is survived by two children, Bobbie C. Holloway, Gallatin, Tenn., James E. (Ora) Citty, Chattanooga; sister, Roseanne (Paul)Kaylor; grandchildren, Todd (Tonya) Moser, of Mount Juliet, Tenn., Tyson (Danielle) Moser, of Hendersonville, Tenn., Stephanie (Eric) Schwieter, of Chattanooga; great-grandchildren, Victoria, Olivia, Drew and Emma Moser, Haley and Peyton Schwieter, of Chattanooga; several nieces and nephews.Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Chattanooga National Cemetery with the Rev.
