Danny Clements

Danny Robin Clements passed away Friday, May 5, 2012.He was born May, 1949. Danny grew up in Chattanooga and attended Brainerd HS, the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, and received a bachelor of philosophy degree from Oregon University. From 1967-1971, Danny served in the U.S. Marine Corps, and, in 1982, as a U.S. Naval Officer aboard the U.S.S. Knox. He returned to Chattanooga in 1992, where he spent the remainder of his life.Preceded in death by his father, Leonard M. Clements; and his mother, Mary Gladys Radford.He is survived by his aunt, Amy Radford Rossi, of Little Rock; and his brother, David, sister-in-law, Margaret; and nieces, Mary and Amy Clements of Durham, N.C.X marks a first-water spot,A place in life few will go.No one goes there but by lot.Danny went, with need to know.Over the mountain, never toReturn unchanged, every day new.The committal service of Dannys ashes will be 2 p.m. Friday, June 8, 2012, at Chattanooga National Cemetery, 1200 Bailey Ave.
