Norwood Phillips

TRENTON Norwood Phillips, 73, died at his residence Thursday afternoon, June 7, 2012.He was employed by Borg Fabrics of Rossville, and was retired from Freds Discount of Trenton. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army stationed in Germany. He was a member of Trenton First Baptist Church.Surviving are wife, Carolyn Smith Phillips, of Trenton; two brothers, Grover Phillips of Kelso, Wash., and Desmond Phillips, of Fort Oglethrope; one sister, Noracella Gifford, of Fort Oglethrope; also several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday in the chapel with Rev. Dewayne Roberson officiating.Interment will be in Lake Hills Memorial Gardens Trenton.
