Ronald Odom

Ronald "Chris" Odom, 40, passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2012, at a local hospital.He was of the Baptist faith and was a machinist with Anderson Machine Shop for many years. Chris fought a long hard battle with his diabetes and never gave up. Chris was an extraordinary ball player, and motorcycle enthusiast. Chris was loved by everyone who knew him and he will be sadly missed.He was preceded in death by his father, LaVaun Odom; grandmother, Thelma Collier; uncle, David Odom; grandfathers, Buddy Odom, Edwin Hayes and Edmond Skinner.Surviving relatives; wife, Tish Odom; mother, Glenda (Wayne) Bates; daughter, Amanda Odom; stepson, Michael (Cassie) Wright; stepdaughters, Tisha Igou, Christina Peterson and Amber Wright; brother, Rusty Odom; maternal grandmother, Frances Hayes; four step-grandchildren; four nieces and one nephew; uncle, Sherman (Sandy) Odom; aunt, Judy (Kenny) Plemons.Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday June 10, 2012 at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev.
