James Alligood

James M. "Jimbo" Alligood, 50, passed away Monday, June 11, 2012 at his residence in Rossville, Ga. "Jimbo" loved the outdoors, the "Big Orange", the Atlanta Braves and, most of all, his family. "Jimbo", we love you and will miss you. We will never forget your sweet smile, gentle spirit, and sense of humor. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving parents, Joe and Betty Alligood; grandmother, Irene Short; sisters, Carie (Kenton) Roberts; Vikki ( Dana) Jacobs; nieces and nephews, Emily (Mark ) Fant and their son, Jaxon; Libby and George Cecchetti; Bailey Roberts, and many aunts; uncles; and cousins; in the Chattanooga area.Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Friday, June 15, at the funeral home. A memorial service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel at 2:30 p.m. with The Reverend Jocelyn Bell officiating.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.Arrangements by John P.
