Christy BrownChristy Gail Brown Burr, 42, a longtime resident of Chattanooga went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, June 20, 2012. She was a graduate of Chattanooga Christian School. Christy was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church.Preceded in death by grandfathers, Ernest L. Brown Sr. and Charles Walker.Survived by husband, Steve Burr, of Phoenix, Ariz.; parents, Ernie and Lynda Brown, of Chattanooga; sister, Julie (Will) Kesler, of Albany, Ga.; brother, Charlie (Amy) Brown, of Chattanooga; paternal grandmother, Norma Brown, of Chattanooga; maternal grandparents, Emma and Ernest Brooks, of East Ridge; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held today, at 2 p.m. at the East Brainerd Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Dr. J. Render Caines officiating. Interment will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to Walter Boehm Birth Defects Center, 975 East 3rd Street, Chattanooga, Tennessee 37403.
