Elma Nance

CHICKAMAUGA Elma Nance, 87, departed this life on her birthday Tuesday, June 26, 2012.She was born in a logging camp near Caryville, Tenn., to the late Otis and Fannie Farley. She was a graduate of Young Harris College and the University of Georgia. Elma taught school in a one room school house in Blairsville, Ga. Later married Bruce Nance and they moved to Chickamauga.She was a member of Elizabeth Lee Methodist Church.She is survived by her husband, Bruce Nance; daughter, Renee (Norman) Hunter; and grandson, Lance Hunter.The family will be forever grateful for Jean and Janice, angels sent from God.The family will receive friends from 2 until 6 p.m. Friday, June 29, 2012 at the funeral home.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Elizabeth Lee Methodist Church, P.O.
