Terry Echols

Terry L. Echols, 68, of Soddy-Daisy, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 14, 2012.Terry was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area and a graduate of Red Bank High School. He was retired from DuPont after 40 years of service. Terry attended Green Pond Baptist Church.He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Margaret Hood Echols; brother, Jerry Echols and a daughter, Kathy Morgan.Terry is survived by his wife of 37 years, Theldon; daughters and sons-in-law, Angela (Randy) Mitchell and Kim (David) Sowder; grandchildren, Amanda Cunningham, Kassidy Brannon, Shawn Morgan and Cliff Morgan; seven great-grandchildren; two nieces; brother, Bill Echols; and a sister, Helen Demetrius.The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today and 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. on Friday at the North Chapel.Services for Terry will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday at the North Chapel with Rev. Neal Pillion officiating.Burial will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
