Wanda Cato

WOODSTOCK Wanda Marie Dillard Cato, 64, passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2012, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cancer Home in Atlanta.Wanda was born in Dayton, Tenn., and was a 1965 graduate of Rhea Central High School and Georgia Baptist College of Nursing with a BSN degree. Wanda was employed for a number of years at St. Joseph Hospital and retired from the State of Georgia. Wanda was loved by all her family and friends and will be greatly missed.She was predeceased in death by her parents, Floyd and Marie Nelson Dillard, of Dayton; her brothers, J.W., Bill, Morgan and Roger I. Dillard.Wanda is survived by her husband of 44 years, F. Wallace Cato, who has lovingly cared for her through an extended battle with cancer.She is also survived by her sisters, Clara Johnson, of Chattanooga, Vadah Dillard, of Etowah and Helen Reynolds, of Sevierville; brothers, Thomas (Liz) Dillard, of Ooltewah and Jennings (Deb) Dillard, of Athens; several nieces and nephews.A private memorial service will be held at a later date.Arrangements by SouthCare Cremation Society and Memorial Centers in Marietta 770-420-5557.
